'Unreal Tournament servers are often linked to with unreal://ip:port. In KDE4 it's possible to add custom handlers for these kind of protocols. I took an example from last.fm and modified it for Unreal Tournament.

First you'll have to adapt the Unreal Tournament init script to make it launch url's, see this post.

To enable the unreal:// protocol create a new file called unreal.protocol in /usr/share/kde4/services. Add the following text to the file, "exec" should be set to the path to start Unreal Tournament

[Protocol]
exec=/home/user/Games/ut/ut %u
protocol=unreal
input=none
output=none
helper=true
listing=
reading=false
writing=false
makedir=false
