Do you also miss the day we used to play CTF-Warrior, CTF-AnthonyBsDomain or CTF-Darji16 10vs10? After the success of a 2vs2 cup maybe it would be nice to do it the other way around in a XOL "tradition": a full blown 10vs10 cup! The idea is to gather at least two teams and play 10vs10 for a Sunday afternoon. I plan to do this end march/early april, see the poll above. A normal translocator will be used, teamspeak will be optional but encouraged.
If you're interested in the cup please post a message and mark the dates you can. Signups will open at the end of the week.

Oh, how I am tempted. Normal translocator? Optional Teamspeak? You know just how to appeal to me. =P
Unfortunately, I can't really say whether I'll be available on any given day, so I have a request: could I be put down as a substitute of sorts? If people don't show up [as I think happened last time] and I'm around and not getting disconnected every three minutes, I could fill in as the 20th on the team who is down a player if necessary.
Oh, is Zeitkind going to be on the maplist?

It's unlikely exactly 20 players will sign up so each team will have to bench some players each match. And noshows have been pretty normal in cups like this. I'll keep open sign ups until the last week before the cup so you can decide whether you'll play then.
The maps will be decided on later, Zeitkind is a good candidate indeed.

At least the ones who did vote agree so the date will be set on April 11th. Signup opened here (the small button in the top right corner  ) let's see if we can get this going. I'll set up a poll for the map if we have a decent amount of players. |

You do know that clicking the signup button will sign you up directly? You all visited the link to sign up. Maybe I should make a confirmation screen or something. Or the subliminal click me actually works.

As long as you're playing it's fine, as said teamspeak is optional and you can use it to listen only also.

Sorry, I haven't had much time to focus on this event lately. Only 14 players have signed up which is not enough so I'll make an alternative: "Mod sunday: Big maps"
At 14.00 CET I will reset XOL with a mapvote with only big maps in it. With us and the other regular players who can join I hope this will give us some pretty filled matches.

Only 4 of the people who signed up actually joined which was not enough to create some mass and get the big number games going. I've reverted the server back to normal.
