The Junkyard
Welcome to "The Junkyard", the site I use to dump my writings on the web. The site mainly focusses on the stuff I do for fun which means a couple of computergames: Unreal Tournament and I hope to add some Neverwinter Nights articles too, perl programming and website building however you might find some random stuff too. The site has two sections: the downloads and the articles. The downloads contain mostly stuff I made like (perl) scripts and some UT stuff I want to share while the article section contains mostly guides and articles about what I'm interested in
On this domain you will also find some other sites I build in the past or which need their own specialiced space separate from this site. The Guust Flater site is one of the first sites I made when I started web building and are currently hosted on this domain. Snakes & Ladders is a board game you can play against the computer. It was an experiment in 2002 to see what I could do with JavaScript. Unfortunately it works in IE only
The XOL DOG UT servers website I made after I took over the administration of these UT servers, it uses SMF with Tiny Portal as content management system and for the forums. The website also contains ranking pages which I wrote specially for the XOL DOG 400s CTF server.

While browsing the neverwinter nights forums I stumbled upon a huge amount of acronyms, some looked familiar, some didn't. I decided to make a list of these acronyms so it would be easy to find one I didn't remember, this list is now published here as a reference for neverwinternights newcomers.

I finally took the time to write a new article that was in my head for quite a while. It gives some details about how to use a robots.txt and how I applied one on this domain.

Compressing UT packages from Explorer02-08-08
A small tutorial about how to setup Explorer to make it easy to compress Unreal Tournament packages for use on a redirect server.
 UT custom CTF map screenshots26-07-08
I made a package of about 300 screenshots of custom Unreal Tournament maps for the capture the flag gametype. You can use them with UTStats or for whatever purpose you need them for.
